what I did

Just the two of us at Global Game Jam 2023. I handled code, design and UI for a 3D platformer where you play a sprout, rescuing the others from a burning forest. Built in Unreal Engine 4.

the hard part

With only two of us, nobody else could pick up the slack. Every system, level and screen had to fit into 48 hours between two pairs of hands, so the scope had to be small and the work split cleanly from the start.
